Teressa – CRPS

CRPS Case Study

Teresa had an ankle sprain turn into CRPS. She had been told by her doctors that they might have to AMPUTATE her leg due to her injury, which left her on crutches and in constant pain for 6 months. When she presented to our office, her leg was purplish red from the toes to mid thigh, she was unable to bear weight on it, and was hypersensitive to touch. Drs at children’s hospital told her muscle tissue death was occurring in her leg....

She was treated 3 times per week for the next several weeks and experienced a 100% resolution of symptoms and never had a recurrence.
